Who we are
Rosie
Zanders - your first point of contact
Rosie is passionate about her work.
And her love of the job shines through in every project she manages –
from organising a social programme for 700 conference delegates, to
planning themed tours for individual clients. Her extensive guiding
experience even includes a tour for the first man on the moon! After
graduating in French from UCL, Rosie gained her London Blue Badge in
1984 and has been a registered Cambridge guide since 1998. She is the
author of The Cambridge Book of Days, published in 2011 by the
History Press – see Book of Days
Susan
Francis
Along with Rosie and Mike Nott, Susan is one of the founders of
Cambridge Tailor-Made Tours. Her infectious enthusiasm for Cambridge is easy to catch! A
memorable visit is much more than just seeing a lot of impressive
buildings. And Susan’s tales and anecdotes about the people and events
in the city will bring your visit alive. She’s got hundreds, maybe
thousands, of great stories to tell … which means you’re guaranteed a
fascinating tour and some truly great memories to take home.
Michael
Nott
With Mike to guide you around the city, you will have an interesting and
entertaining tour, spanning Cambridge old and new. With a degree in
history and a background in IT, Mike can relate to all aspects of
Cambridge from its early days through to its current position as a
world-class centre for research and high tech industry. Mike's other
interests include architecture and plants and gardens. He is an
accredited guide at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden, and has
been a registered Blue Badge Guide since 1998.
Margaret
Goddin
Margaret has been a Cambridge Blue Badge Guide for many years but
continues to be “surprised and delighted” by our beautiful city. A
history graduate with a particular fascination for the supernatural,
Margaret was a pioneer of the ever-popular ghost tours linked to the
town and colleges. She is also an accredited guide for Cambridge
University’s Botanic Garden, sharing her passion for gardening and this
important national collection of plants.
